🌿 How to Care for Your Kenzan

1. Rinse after every use - hold under running water immediately after use to remove plant debris and sap.
2. Brush between the pins - Use a long, soft-bristled brush to remove stubborn organic matter that can cause corrosion. Avoid using steel wire brushes, as they can scratch the kenzan's protective surface.
3. DO NOT use Bleach or harsh chemicals, as they will strip the protective coating from the aluminum base.
4. Dry thoroughly - Place the kenzan bar upside down to air dry completely before storing. Never store it wet. Avoid leaving it submerged in water between uses for a long time. 
5. Occasional deep clean - soak in diluted white vinegar (1:3 with water) for 10 to 15 minutes to remove mineral deposits, then rinse and dry as usual. 
6. Embrace the patina: Prolonged Kenzan in treated tap water-specifically the chlorine used in water systems can react, causing it to naturally change color over time.. This aging process does not affect the functionality of your kenzan; rather, it gives it character. Many artists find unique beauty in these 'colors of time,' seeing it as a reflection of the journeys shared with flowers.
