🌿 How to Care for Your Kenzan

1. Rinse after every use - hold under running water immediately after use to remove plant debris and sap from between the pins.
2. Brush between the pins - use a long, soft-bristled brush to remove stubborn organic matter. Avoid steel wire brushes as they can scratch the protective surface.
3. Do NOT use bleach or harsh chemicals - they will strip the protective coating from the aluminum base.
4. Dry thoroughly - place the kenzan upside down to air dry completely before storing. Never store it wet.
5. Store in a dry place - avoid leaving it submerged in water between uses for extended periods.
6. Occasional deep clean - soak in diluted white vinegar (1:3 with water) for 10–15 minutes to remove mineral deposits, then rinse and dry as usual.
7. Embrace the patina - prolonged contact with treated tap water may cause the kenzan to naturally change colour over time. This does not affect functionality - many artists see it as a beautiful reflection of the journeys shared with flowers.
